Llamatik ("the App") is an AI chatbot demonstration built using the Llamatik Kotlin Multiplatform library. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Overview

Llamatik performs all AI text generation locally on your device. However, the App uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to collect limited usage and diagnostic information to help improve the app’s performance and reliability.

No AI prompts, messages, or model-related data are sent to external servers.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect or transmit:

• Chatbot messages or prompts you enter
• AI model outputs
• Voice recordings
• Contact lists
• Precise location data
• Photos or media
• Cookies

AI-related content never leaves your device.

3. Information That May Be Collected (Analytics & Crash Reports)

To help improve the App, we use the following Google services:

Google Analytics for Firebase

Firebase Analytics may collect:

• App usage events (for example, screen views and interactions)
• Device type, operating system version, language, and performance metrics
• Anonymous identifiers used only for aggregated analytics

All Analytics data is pseudonymous and is not intended to be linked to information that directly identifies you.

Firebase Crashlytics

Crashlytics collects technical data when the App crashes, such as:

• Device model and OS version
• Stack traces and error logs
• App version installed

This helps diagnose and fix stability issues. No chat content or personal text entered into the chatbot is included in crash logs.

4. Data Processing of AI Models

All AI model operations remain completely local:

• Text processing
• Inference and generation
• Model loading
• Embeddings (if used)

Nothing you type into the chatbot is sent to Firebase, Google Analytics, or any external servers.

5. Model Downloads

When downloading models through the App:

• Files may be retrieved directly from public, open-source hosting providers (for example, Hugging Face).
• The App itself does not log which specific model you download.
• The downloaded models are stored on your device’s local storage.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may interact with the following Google services:

• Firebase Analytics
• Firebase Crashlytics
• Firebase Performance Monitoring (if enabled)

No other third-party tracking or advertising services are used.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children. Because AI can generate general-purpose text, parental supervision is recommended for underage users.

8. Security

Data collected by Firebase is encrypted in transit and at rest, according to Google’s security practices. AI data and model files used by Llamatik never leave your device and are protected by your device’s operating system-level security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights such as:

• Requesting deletion of analytics data associated with your device
• Opting out of Analytics collection
• Accessing information about how your diagnostic data is used

To limit Analytics data collection, you may adjust your device or Google account settings, for example by disabling "Usage & diagnostics" or "Ads personalization" where available.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the App evolves or as legal requirements change. The latest version will always be made available within the App or on the official website.
